The Factories

Agugiaro Mill
The history of the Agugiaro Mill has run parallel with cereal transformation since the 15th century. The first mill was built at the beginning of 1400 by a noble Venetian family, who realised that investing in the milling art was safe and profitable.
The last mill was inaugurated in 1998 and produces semi-processed products for bakery and confectionery: the new frontier of milling science.
Between these two dates we have experimented and applied all the technological innovation possible for flour production, to be sure we are always in pace with the changing times.
Figna Mill
A milling family now at the 6th generation, the Figna family moved in 1874 from Lugo di Romagna to Parma to begin their milling business in Valera.
Over the years, thanks to the success of their first plant, the Figna family has built a second factory in Collecchio, still in the province of Parma, with diversified production between hard and soft wheat with a fully automated production cycle.
Fagioli Mill
Since 1997 the Fagioli Mill has been owned by the Figna Group, and for several years it was the landmark for the central Italian market, until 2003 when a great turnaround took place, when it joined the Agugiaro & Figna Group and began an important investment plan to considerably increase the storage capacity for finished products (flour and derivatives) and to automate the distribution processes.
